This website provides me with a place to host my resume, show some of my photos, and give you (the reader) a little insight into who I am.
I began developing the current site as an exercise in standards-compliant web design and as a way to check out some cool blogging and photo gallery tools. In its earlier iterations JARinteractive.com was primarily a website promoting JARinteractive Web Design.
The blog will focus on a variety of tech subjects (programming, photoshop, web design, apple, etc.), but surely will contain other things, as well. This is my first attempt at a blog, so I don't know how it will all play out.
JARinteractive.com was hand-coded using SubEthaEdit (originally) and TextWrangler (currently) on Mac OS X. Graphics for the site were created using Adobe Photoshop. The website utilizes XHTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. The website is hosted on a reliable and affordable ICDsoft server running linux. Visit A List Apart for excellent information regarding standards compliant web development.
WordPress, A full-featured and free blogging platform, is the power behind the weblog. Singapore image gallery software is used for the photography section.
All photographs on the site are taken with a Canon AE-1 camera unless otherwise noted. The photos are digitized using a Nikon Coolscan IV ED film scanner.
