Hey James. What's up? Long time since choir class and the School Board Quartet. I'm currently in Brookfield doing software design, etc. It's good to see you're still active with computers and stuff. Where are you at now? Send me an e-mail sometime if you're so inclined. BTW, happiness is nice, but I think joy in the heart is much more fulfilling. Don't worry about the rat race. Worry about the processor power race :)

Steve Jobs will also be on Disney’s board. What kind of impact will he have? = NONE, He's on the BOARD. There's only so much one board member can do.

I should have mentioned VLC in my original post, although the Windows Media video is a bit choppy on my (old) Macs. It does work well for streaming audio though! I'm not sure what Steve has to do with BeOS. He founded NeXT (since bought by Apple) and Pixar.

Or you could use VLC ( http://www.videolan.org/ ) on pretty much any platform including BeOS for the true Steve Jobs zealots.

Interesting... makes me wish more people actually understood Islam... then they might realize that there are a lot of similarities between it and Christianity (I took an Islam class in college - can even speak a tiny smidge of Arabic). People get too wrapped up in their own self-righteousness to even entertain the possibility that we, as a people - as a country, could do anything wrong. Yes, a terrible thing happened on September 11, and yes, it happened to be done by Islamic extremists... but that doesn't mean that we have the right to demean an entire race of people - an entire religion - because of the actions of a few of its members. This whole "war on terror" thing... I agree that something needed to be done following September 11, but the way things have been handled, it reminds me of a child throwing a temper tantrum when things don't go the way they want them to. It's one thing to be patriotic... but it's quite another to parade around like you own the world, not caring how you treat people - because you're American, so you must be right. Unfortunately, many Americans believe it.

Stepping down from my soapbox now...

Ha... I found it... although if you just google "electric sheep", you are not anywhere on the first 25 pages of results (I got tired of looking at that point...)
